Refresh and radiate your skin so that it not only looks great but feels incredible too.  At Alisha Louise Aesthetics, we provide tailored chemical peels to treat several conditions, including acne, rosacea, pigmentation or generally oily or dehydrated skin.

A chemical peel brightens, exfoliates and rejuvenates the skin, reducing the appearance of lines and stimulating cell growth and collagen production, improving overall texture and tone.

You’ll get the best results by combining your chemical peel with a complementary home regime. Following an in-depth skin analysis, we’ll help you design a bespoke treatment plan personally tailored to your skin and we’ll go with you on your journey to fresher, younger looking skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt?

Good news is no! You may feel heat and tingling for a few minutes, which can be uncomfortable but not painful. The majority of patients love this as they can feel it working!

Will I peel?

Everyone is different and peels vary depending on what we are treating so possibly yes and possibly no! Chemical peels work at a cellular level so can exfoliate without the need for peeling so don’t feel as though it hasn’t worked if you don’t peel! Most people will have some element of shedding or visible dry skin.

Will I be able to return to my normal activities?

YES! You may be slightly pink but there will be no burn marks or scabs to worry about. They are very gentle and the idea is little and often.

When will I see the results?

Skin cellular turnover can take 28 days to renew so you will continue to see results up until and after this point. Rome wasn’t built in a day so you will need to follow your bespoke treatment plan to get the most out of your treatments. Most people will require several peels and follow robust home care regime specific to them to get the results they desire. It’s a two way combined treatment, 50% what I do in clinic and 50% what you do at home.

What products should I use afterwards?

It is vital you wear an SPF come rain or shine to protect from UV rays which can burn and age you. Your skin is more vulnerable post peel so after care compliance is essential. We can tailor a bespoke skin care regime using Alumier products to continue your in clinic peel experience at home.
