It works using perfectly controlled energy pulses directed to the treatment area. The pulse provides rapid and short bursts of controlled heat, which leads to micro-ablation. This is followed by a low-energy thermal effect that produces shrinkage and triggers collagen and elastin production.

Facial rejuvenation
Co2 is the gold standard for wrinkles and skin laxity and we can offer various levels of treatment depending on the patient's concern. A deep laser peel delivers the greatest improvement for lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity and requires the fewest treatments, but the down time is longer.
Cool Peel
CoolPeel is a brand new way to safely and comfortably deliver the benefits of a traditional Co2 resurfacing treatment. It targets just the superficial layer of skin tissues, damaged skin is removed, revealing younger-looking skin. One of the many benefits of CoolPeel is the minimal downtime.
Pigmentation
We can remove pigmented lesions such as sunspots, age spots and freckles caused by sun damage. The short pulses of light released are absorbed by the high concentration of melanin-rich cells found within pigmented. The rapid absorption heats the melanin and causes destruction of the melanin-rich cells triggering the growth of new, healthy skin tissue.
Scarring
We can treat deeper skin concerns such as surgical scars, acne scars and stretch marks with our Co2 laser, reducing redness and improving their appearance. We target minute sections of the skin with laser light, which penetrates into the tissue causing small columns of thermal damage. This stimulates significant collagen renewal and the surrounding areas of the skin aid the body's natural recovery processes, achieving dramatic results without significant downtime.

There are a range of treatments that can treat all skin types and all areas of the body. C02 laser is perfect for skin tightening, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture, large pores, pigmentation, sun damage, various skin lesions, scars, acne scarring, stretch marks and full skin rejuvenation of the face, neck, décolletage, hands and body.
Treatment sensation varies from individual to individual. You can expect a slight stinging sensation but most people find it tolerable. We can apply numbing cream to increase your comfort.
The number of sessions will depend on your skin concern and the level of treatment. For a deeper laser peel, many people will notice results after one treatment but for softer treatments, often two or more are required. Due to micro-ablation, results may be visible in the first few days after treatment but collagen production and rejuvenation will take 3-6 months to become visible. The results are permanent, but as the ageing process is continuous, periodic maintenance treatments will ensure results remain visible.
The downtime will depend on the level of treatment. A deeper laser peel will require more downtime up to 5 – 10 days where as a softer, or cool peel will invoke similar effects to sunburn. After treatment, you should expect to be a little red and your skin may feel dry and scaly as it heals. For scarring, redness and swelling is likely but minimal and resolves in 2 to 3 days. Your skin may have a bronzed appearance that lasts from 3 to 10 days and will naturally exfoliate.

Most people are suitable for treatment due to the versatility of the device that we use. A deep laser peel delivers the greatest improvement for lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity. A CoolPeel is perfect if you are looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and sun damage, minimise pores and improve skin texture. For pigmentation treatment, large, dark, mottled or raised pigmentation or lesions covering a large part of the body cannot be treated and may need to be checked by a dermatologist.
