See FAQs

LED phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment that is scientifically proven to help with skin rejuvenation, acne and pigmentation, wound healing, psoriasis and pain relief.

It is a non-contact treatment using the powerful energy of specific light wavelengths to heal the skin. LED phototherapy can be used in isolation to improve skin tone, hydration and overall vitality, but it can also be combined with other skin treatments, including in preparation for and as part of recovery for more invasive treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the treatment work?

Using the Dermalux Triwave Compact machine, the canopy sits above the face or body with minimal personal contact. It releases specific, targeted non-thermal light wavelengths which are absorbed into the skin, energising the cells and improving overall skin tone and texture.

When will I see results and how long will they last?

Visible improvement can be seen after a single session, although a course of treatments or incorporation into your skincare regime is recommended for lasting results. For inflammatory skin conditions, redness and irritation will be visibly reduced.

Is it painful?

It is a pain free treatment, but you may feel natural warmth due to the increase in blood circulation.

How many treatments are required?

It depends on the condition and severity, age and lifestyle but we recommend a course of eight to 12 sessions.
