Depending on the area treated, you will require 10 injections, which are given via an extremely thin needle to reduce the pain. Some injections you won’t even feel. The sensation is described as a slight stinging sensation which goes as quick as it comes.
Typically you can expect up to 6 months out of your treatment but results will vary depending on the individual.
To achieve long lasting results, you will require 2 treatments with a four week interval. Some people will see some results one week after the first session but the best outcomes will be visible 4 weeks after the last visit. We recommend having 2 treatments every 6-7 months or one treatment every 3 months as a top up.
You may feel and see small lumps of where the product has been injected but they settle very quickly. As with any aesthetics procedure, it is advisable to stay out of extreme heat, avoid touching the area or applying make up to the area treated.
Profhilo™ is described as “the icing on the cake” or the beginners introduction to cosmetic procedures. As with any injection, there are risks including bruising, swelling, infection and allergic reaction. The risk of vascular occlusion and nerve damage are extremely rare. A thorough consultation will take place before any procedure.
